Veteran Agri-Source

Veteran Agri-Source established in 2016 seeks to be a non-profit organization which helps struggling, homeless and unemployed Veterans link up with local farmers and agricultural businesses to obtain work, training and a sustainable standard of living.
Established in August 2016, Veteran Agri-Source started as the brainchild of a collaboration between Marine Corps Veterans Isaiah Pallos and Jeff Brown. The initial concept was to hire veterans to work on their respective properties and use the work relationship as an alternative to therapy and counseling through the Veterans Affairs Hospital.
Immediately after conception of the idea of putting struggling veterans back in the work place in meaningful contributing careers, they decided to bring on two other Iraq War Marine Veterans Jeremy Smith and Austin Jubb. These two individuals were a crucial addition to the concept team.
Veteran Agri-Souce has evolved into what will be a work skills training service that actively seeks out and locates Veterans that are in need of meaningful work amongst fellow brothers at arms and links these individuals with local farmers who need workers and offers the farmers the peace of mind of background checks and overall the dedication and hard work that the military instills in its soldiers, sailors and airmen.
Veteran Agri-Source will be ran as a non-profit organization funded by donations and through partnership relations with local employers who seek hard working veteran employees. We feel the Veterans have sacrificed so much for this country and for all of us with little or no respect and assistance in adjusting to civilian life. We seek to not only provide help for those who are struggling but provide a positive and healing environment to get those who need it back on their feet.

Hopes are to be up and running by springtime. Looking forward to helping out as many brothers in arms as we can. We (the four of us involved) feel this is a serious issue involving far too many people.
