it shows maturity to at least understand an issue before throwing money at it so good on you PO Foster, and good on anyone that tries to help a cause for the underdog SSG Colwell, unfortunately we have to dig for the truth vice depending on the "canned agenda" that media feeds us, I am negligent in that I don't fully understand more than the surface of this issue....but we have been a tad distracted for the last year with social issues and the election, if they continue to be more contentious every four years I fear for 2020 but we have survived a lot in USA so bring it on

The actual issue really isn't the pipeline but it represents. The US Gov't has systemacitlly stolen the land granted in the Ft Laramie Treaty of 1851. They treaty gave the land to the tribe to within 5 miles of Bismark. They have sacred sites and sacred lands that have been taken whenever the Government wants. They did it when gold was discovered in the Black Hills....and it has gotten smaller and smaller. When ETP bulldozed 3+ sites that were identified as scared in court documents even though it was illegal. The ACOE is using permit 12 to take over 117 miles of treaty promised land to build this. The pipeline is 90% finished the only part that isn't is the part that goes under the river...the part we are going to stop. The way that they went and got this approved was through shady back room deals and blatant corruption. When I see unarmed protectors being dosed with water cannons in 27 degree weather, a young 20 y/o's life changed with a concussion grenade blow off her arm, people attacked by dogs...enough is enough. I will stand with my brothers and sisters and say no more. This is a fight that we should have joined 150 years ago.
