CMP: 99,000 Garands are back from overseas, update on 1911s

May I suggest the next step in correcting the 8 years of undermining the 2nd Amendment --- have the various Government agencies that have stockpiled ammunition transfer those hoards to the CMP.

CW5 Jack Cardwell I would much rather have the Garand over having another 1911. With 99,000, I might have a chance!

These don't appear to have been added to the available inventory, however. Really looking forward to when these are added or others arrive, like the ones previously blocked from South Korea. Unfortunately, I kept putting off getting one of these heritage rifles until it was too late. Not a collector, so don't really care whether it's all original or single manufacturer, but would like one in good enough condition to be a regular shooter for many years to come.
