Now I watch multi-millionaire athletes who never did anything in their lives but play a game, disrespect what brave Americans fought and died for. They are essentially spitting in the faces and on the graves of real men, men who have actually done something for this country beside playing with a ball and believing they’re something special! They’re not! My Marines and Soldiers were!

Best sentence and thought: What would happen if they (the millionaire players) came out and disrespected you (NFL officials) or the refs publicly?

Yes, I know, it’s their 1st Amendment right to behave in such a despicable manner. What would happen if they came out and disrespected you or the refs publicly? "

the thing is that so many Americans that are balking at the sitting down and kneeling, are sitting down in their armchairs or on their couches during that same anthem. If you believe in respecting it then respect it at home as well! Growing up we stood for the anthem with our hands over our hearts no matter what event we were watching. Yet, there are those that are outraged that don't do the same in their households......
