Colombia's congress ratifies peace accord with rebels

Let's hope so. One of the unfortunate things which the article speaks to is that many of the former members of the FARC may find their way into criminal elements. The FARC long found it's way into the criminal side of things already, moving very much away from their political ideology. What me might be seeing is a last ditch effort from the old school leaders trying to get back to what they initially set out to accomplish (a communist Colombian government) by shedding the criminal aspect of their organization and working within the system. I still hope they fail.

Maybe now they can have peace. Too many have died for nought.
