SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL Wow, that newspaper article describes CSM Ratley as a Soldier we would aspire to emulate. May he rest in peace and we must pray for his survivors to survive in his absence.

Well SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL I am glad to learn that this wasn't intentional homicide, or impaired driving based on substance abuse which killed Command Sgt. Maj. Lynn Edward Ratley while he was riding on his 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Man knows not his time as the Bible clearly tells us. I hope the CSM made his peace with God before he died.
Prayers for his family who were probably shocked and certainly grief-stricken to learn how and when he died.

LTC Stephen F. thanks for the well heart felt response. Your right, no one knows the time as it ticks away slowly/fast each day. We must live it like its our last. I am glad I know Jesus for he is the truth and the light to the Almighty God! May CSM Ratley RIP!
