Thanks for reminding us TSgt Joe C. that on May 2, 1863 Confederate General Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson administered a devastating defeat to the Army of the Potomac at the Battle of Chancellorsville, Virginia.
Of course Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson was mortally wounded by his own men which made this pyrrhic victory in Robert E. Lee's estimation, initially after he heard the news.

Thank you for the great Civil War share, it was a neat decision to split up the forces for the attack on federal lines, a different type of maneuver.
