I believe this is real. There is a PFC in my squad that until I taught her the history of the Korean War yesterday, didn't know North Korea was a US enemy. Her excuse "I don't watch the news".

I'd like to believe that is a spoof of some sort but I am afraid it may not be. There are millions of uninformed people in this country that pay no attention to matters further from their nose than their mobile device. They will fall for anything, believe anything and have learned only platitudes about life like "if you can dream it you can do it" or "reach for the stars" etc.

SSgt (Join to see) Consider the source. I imagine that the responses would be far different if they asked that around the Naval Station in San Diego, Norfolk VA, Colorado Springs, or anywhere intelligent people live. On the other hand, maybe they are just looking forward to the excellent tan the radiation will give them?
