The 2nd Amendment is such a divisive point in today's political climate, that the Supreme Court needs to get it over with, whichever way it falls out, so Congress can get on with fixing the rest of the country

I don't see much happening in Congress at least for the foreseeable future.

Lt Col Charlie Brown Until SCOTUS settles the 2nd Amendment issue, you won't. Almost everyone in Congress has made their stand on this issue, one way or the other, and they're not going to do much of anything else until it's all over but the crying.

Congress has been ineffective for years now. Both under Obama and Trump. They can’t seem to get it that their job is to work for the American people. Which means compromise on both sides. Sadly, I don’t see it changing anytime soon.

The rest of the country does need fixing that's for sure. I will say though, the 2nd amendment is spot on. If they want to move to tighten down on some gun laws so be it.
