This is amazing and stupid. I do not believe it to be true. How could the media not cover this, but again, I think this has to be a BS website. Not happy if you live in Wash DC/MD/VA area near the train tracks.

Found this interesting enough to do some digging to figure out why it was included; seems fairly obvious in hindsight considering it's a safety board and the last WMATA fire in April. "Adjacent" includes areas above the WMATA where the exhaust fans and ventilation shafts break the surface. Since some of those will be on private property, the "reasonable notice" makes sense.
