The first line of the second paragraph says it all.
"Israeli soldiers and snipers used barrages of tear gas as well as live gunfire to keep protesters from entering Israeli territory."
What more needs be said unless your intention was to stir up trouble elsewhere? Call me crazy, but I would hope that if a violent mob were headed toward our borders that our military would protect it. To be honest I think that they used remarkable restraint. Only 58 dead denotes one of two things. Either they're remarkably horrible shots, or they were intentionally trying not to make kill shots. Judging what I've heard of the Israeli military over the years I suspect it was the latter.
I don't know about y'all, but I would call planting and hurling explosives an attack. Again, call me crazy, but how is a sovereign nation protecting its borders a bad thing?

I would expect police and military to use the minimum amount of violence necessary to accomplish their mission. Police, perhaps. The military, not at all. If you use your military, you use them to the fullest. Anything else is just Pi**ing in the wind. The few deaths here leads me to believe that someone higher up on the food chain told them to avoid killing as much as possible.
As for the doctor... Walking out into the field of fire was his first mistake. If I lived there, I probably wouldn't trust anyone. From the pictures shown there could have been anything under those vests.

So the National Guard should have simply mowed down protestors in Ferguson, Missouri? Unarmed protesters are not combatants, shooting unarmed medical personnel tending to the unarmed non-combatants you just shot is especially egregious. We should withdraw all financial support from Israel until those responsible for these abuses are brought to justice.
