I would expect police and military to use the minimum amount of violence necessary to accomplish their mission. Police, perhaps. The military, not at all. If you use your military, you use them to the fullest. Anything else is just Pi**ing in the wind. The few deaths here leads me to believe that someone higher up on the food chain told them to avoid killing as much as possible.
As for the doctor... Walking out into the field of fire was his first mistake. If I lived there, I probably wouldn't trust anyone. From the pictures shown there could have been anything under those vests.

So the National Guard should have simply mowed down protestors in Ferguson, Missouri? Unarmed protesters are not combatants, shooting unarmed medical personnel tending to the unarmed non-combatants you just shot is especially egregious. We should withdraw all financial support from Israel until those responsible for these abuses are brought to justice.
