CPT Jack Durish I see a Pandora's box developing. The laws are giving sexual offenders a pass if they transition and identify as transgender. Already this population is conceling their sex change from partners they desire to have a relationship with. There was an uproar about men and women bathrooms having genetically changed men and women in the presence of teenage girls. Now this. My opinion is people who identify as they are born are being subject day by day to less rights and protections with regard to the transgender population.

PO3 Phyllis Maynard Which I feel is LYING! IT is LYING, Cheating, HIDING, FOOLING another into a relationship.... which by the way has actually caused BODILY harm in several cases when the person found out the truth, they went nuts and beat the crap out of the person. and, well I should not, but I totally understand what the person went through...IF these people want relationships, they need to be TOTALLY TRUTHFUL UP FRONT....It is TERRIBLY UNFAIR/UNJUST and down right disgusting to LIE about it.... This is totally getting out of hand...and just because one is "transgender" or one of the few other things going on now....DOES not change the fact that they are still HUMAN BEINGS and should be subjected to the same RULES/REGULATIONS as everyone else...just because someone is a Man doesn't mean they won't be charged for manslaughter if they had been a woman. I am screaming because this is B O L O G N A....Be what you want...I don't care...But if you have a ding a ling...don't come into the women's bathroom when I am in it. It is how I feel and I will never feel differently....but now, people like me are being CRITICIZED....CHASTISED....BULLIED and put down because we feel this way....What happened to FREEDOM of CHOICE? FREEDOM! NOW....if they went through the total transformation and is a "TRUE" transgender then by all means come on in....I have friends who are gay...I have a son who is in the closet....Be gay all you want....I LOVE DRAG QUEENS...But, I tell my drag queen friends to get the heck out of the female restroom if they try to enter...it's how I feel..... Sorry Phyllis....I am passionate about this...and yes, it makes me a wee bit crazy. :-)

Sgt Kelli Mays I am crazy with you. I respect and do not spew disgrace on former President Obama's name. But, he got even with those in government who berated and disrespected his family and himself when he passed the law that put the country on its head with everything about LGBTQ. He left a "get even" legacy. Outside of that, these individuals would not have the empowerment to invade citizens lives. They are not just living in their legal recognition, they are violating the lives of people they know do not ascribe to the lifestyle.

CPT Jack Durish NO! NO! NO! and HELL NO! If you committed a crime like Sexual ABUSE...you COMMITTED a crime. Just because you decided to change your SEX...WHICH YOUR DNA WILL NEVER EVER CHANGE EVER!!! that does not make the CRIME you committed go away. SERIOUSLY!?!?!?!?!?! OH MY GOD! I am at a loss of why the DA is now not pursuing charges just because this person decided he/she wants to be and she/he. Give me a break. Fingerprints are still the same....DNA is still the same...Same brain, Same thoughts...Nothing has Changed except the CRIME...it was done. FACE UP TO! This is such B O L O G N A ~~!!!!

The article headline is a bit misleading. They are not no longer pursuing charges. This person still has to register as a sex offender for life. The problem is they cannot continue to hold them because they no longer reach the "51%" required to claim they will be a repeat offender.
