So easy for people to Monday morning quarterback... They more than likely would have been justified but I've seen enough of these cases go bad because of negative media attention it's no wonder the cops didn't shoot. Sad that law enforcement is always "damned if they do, damned if they don't".. Everyone seems to know how to be a cop better than the cops. Easy for that guy to run after the cops yelling at them to shoot him. Wonder where that same guy will be found during the trial, if he could be found?!?!.... I have three years till I retire and it can't come fast enough. Social media encourages people to challenge the police and it goes on every single day at my work. Someone always questions how I handle a situation. This never happened before. It's the worst its ever been. Seriously, on a daily basis... This country is becoming more backwards by the day.

So... I will say this... As someone who's been in the military for 18 plus years as an MP... And as a police officer... I hate! Cell phone video because it doesn't show the whole picture! I will never second guess anyone for shooting... Or not shooting it's a personal choice that one has to live with. With that! Based on the limited video! I wouldn't have shot either!

No doubt the suspect is placing others in danger... But, hitting parked cars at a slow speed, and there clearly is a wall of cars parked along the curb line to protect walkers. I think good call for the cops.!
