I use AI. It screws up all the time, even on math problems. Whatever you have it do for you, it's not the final product, it's a 70% solution that saved you a lot of time, but it didn't do your job for you. You HAVE TO go over the output with a fine-toothed comb.
One way I use it is by inputting a job ad and my resume to have it generate a cover letter. It routinely claims experience on my behalf that's not in the resume, but speaks to something in the job ad. Still, it takes 2 minutes to generate the AI draft and 10 to correct and edit it, vs 30+ minutes to write the letter from scratch and risk not addressing key asks in the job ad in the process.
