I have one huge issue with the author's stance - "Then, we will get more and more freedoms back."
What a load of horse and cow manure.

"The only change that matters is the fatality rate."
This statement is quite correct, BUT (and a big one at that) is the numbers used to make that calculation. There is missing data in a significant number of localities, for instance NY and CA, that skews the rate.
If you compare the data from Korea and compare it to the US data, you will see some of what is missing from the US data pool.

After reading the article further, the only conclusion that I can come up with - The purpose of the article is to further confuse the issue and to create fear and panic.
This is even further epitomized by the chart and section on "Mutations in the Coronavirus." Where it states: "The best way for this virus to mutate is to have millions of opportunities to do so, which is exactly what a mitigation strategy would provide." This is fear mongering; at least CNN (no matter what other faults they have) appears to agree with my assessment; "The first claim that the coronavirus is mutating is actually true, and it's perfectly fine!...The effects of mutation in real life are nuanced and generally innocuous. Using the idea of mutation to incite fear is harmful, especially in the midst of an epidemic like Covid-19."

A good study, Brother Morris. I'm going to hang on to it and study it a bit more.
Thanks!
