Just to further the fire on the collision discussion. I like how they Navy has immediately informed there is no indication of hacking on their ships - which I think was the consensus here on RP, but they are not ruling it out as possibly happening on the civilian boats.
Could hackers be behind the U.S. Navy collisions?

I think a lot of hacked victims do not know they were hacked, that their material was stolen. If you steal a code, you try to not let others know you can read their mail. If you hack, you often do not want others to know, and you do not want attribution to you. That is the difference between a hacker and a drunk with a hammer. They both can do damage to your computer system. FYI, was not a Chinese ship following one of the American ships that had the crash? Did they give a warning to either ship. Something to think about? (As the CH were claiming we were in their water, they could not deconflct or provide safety for both ships. :)

SSgt GG-15 RET Jim Lint good points. Perhaps they just sat there & watched it happen based on their issues w/ us in the South China Sea & their man-made islands in an effort to expand their territory into the waters?
