Actually, in the grand scheme of things, it will get much worse. We find that clearly stated in God's Holy Word. Please excuse my earlier optimism.

As they get older each generation says this about the younger generations. Nothing new. As societal norms and thoughts change older generations see what they hold closest changing and it is a stressor. If the internet was around 90 years ago you would have seen the same articles about the roaring 20's.
As people get older they get more conservative and look towards the past for comfort while younger generations are more liberal and look towards the future for comfort. It's a constant generational battle.
The west is just fine.

Very true only time will tell. I believe that at least the US will be just fine because as a nation we have faced so many crises in past yet we have always come together through the darkest times and come out stronger and a better nation. Sometimes it just takes a while.
