(Update) What I really meant to say, is that the article alludes to the need of a standard methodology in the counting and reporting of causation of death. And not that they should not be compared until the same metrics are used. But that is the gist of the title of the article.

MSG Francisco Ojeda - In some cases in the United States the statement by Lt Col Charlie Brown can be proven to be correct. There are cases in California that have been proven to be false reporting by the hospitals and county health department. One example is Los Angeles County, where it has been reported on CNN and ABC just to name a couple of news outlets that have reported on the incident. I believe that the one incident is referenced in the linked article.
And I have also linked reports from the CDC that either allude to this fact or report this as a problem.
