Well, suppose some of the laws we have in US seem strange to people from other countries as well. I'm just happy to know that if I moved one town over I could keep an elephant in my back yard.

I guess some of our customs are strange to like one if the Japanese foreign exchange student to my old highschool always found it strange the size of soda here in the US like he stated that the size of a medium is the size of an extra large in Japan and described it as a soda crazy culture everything is large in the US food portions and everything is excessively huge especially food wise even cars he pointed out.

That's why a lot of people are so large, large portions of food and drink.

Try Singapore. Fine for chewing gum. Fine for jaywalking.

Capt Dwayne Conyers - I have been to Singapore. You can't throw trash on the ground, spit, chew gum, jaywalking like you said.
