good to know, I was aware of this method but don't live in a metro area, this might be a negative since the authorities are keying on high risk areas and maybe in time the crooks will see this as a gap and exploit it, I'm guessing that S Service is lead on this with help of state and locals, I am very skeptical of cold calls also, my wife doesn't understand why but after I explained she now does, cold callers posing as surveys or whatever extract tidbits that they use to piece together enough to exploit what they already have, example: they have a credit card # but need a name or address to obtain a DOB etc. and via a "innocent" call can get enough to couple with online searches and complete the puzzle in order to exploit the card, If someone calls and asks who they are speaking with I just ask who they are looking for, folks should know that these are a safer and easier way to steal money than a physical robbery but the outcome is the same, thanks for sharing and best wishes
