The department of justice statistics unfortunately support much of the data in this article. However you were never guessed that from the false narrative that the liberal media portrays. You would swear that every illegal immigrant is a class valedictorian matriculating to medical school. The truth is that people who are willing to ignore laws and violate the sovereignty of another country have already demonstrated a propensity to continue violating laws. So even if that person chooses to never again violate another law they are continuing to flaunt existing rules and laws. One of the silent victims of these crimes are the people who attempt to legally immigrate to United States. Many spend years of their life if not decades and thousands of dollars and patiently wait their turn to enter United States. It is a supreme slap in their face to ignore their sacrifices and their respective for the law. Then you consider these factual statistics that many who break the laws and enter the country illegally, continue to break laws. It is not Hateful nor racist to want the laws of your country followed and to take a good hard look at what the statistical data demonstrates. Then armed with facts and data crafting plans to deal with whatever problems they demonstrate. Attacking people with derogatory terms like racist merely because they wish to see the law followed is counterproductive. It all to ignores two important problems. One is why these communities of illegal immigrants have such high crime. Is this a causal relationship between being willing to be legally enter the country and flag the laws and stay here? Secondly, and perhaps most important is addressing the factors which lead a citizen of a Country to want to flee to the United States. It is not feasible that every poor person in every country with crime or severe poverty can move to the handful of developed nations. There is a wonderful Ted talk which deals with the statistics and the numbers involved. It would be impossible and impractical to try to deal with the property in and crime in these countries through immigration. What is most important is to help develop these countries and make them more stable, safer and to develop their economies. This is the long term solution to not only illegal immigration but to worldwide crime and ultimately poverty.
