We've been seeing and hearing a lot more of her recently, haven't we? Do you think she already has a half-hearted apology ready?

CPT Jack Durish - When you are nasty and mean on the inside for so many years like she is, I doubt it... I doubt anyone would accept it anyway if she gave one.

CPT Jack Durish - Yeah, Hanoi Jane spoke here in Detroit recently, lobbying for the increase in minimum wage to "livable wage". Detroit Free Press posted up the article, and man... the backlash against her was lengthy and immediate. And her supporters showed up, of course, and still think it was her anti-war speeches that everyone has a problem with. Not, you know, the fact that she was the cause of several POWs being murdered by collaborating with the enemy.

SSgt Ryan Sylvester - Repercussions for actions are racist and sexist! Just kidding, a little sarcastic humor. In all honesty, though, when you look at the backlash from so many of their poor decisions, it really is amazing that they keep pushing forward like the majority of Americans don't hate them....

My wife and I talked about this very thing, a couple of days ago. We were both active duty when we entered in to Desert Storm and remember the parades and accolades for the veterans upon return. Both of us were young, during the Vietnam war, but remember the nightly news from that time, and can remember the demonstrations and problems. I am a self proclaimed history nut, not that learned, but a nut none the less, and I have seen the similarities between the two eras. Of course I personally believe the idiots like BLM, Antifa and the left, who call everyone Nazis are themselves, acting in the true definition of the "Nazis". And, they are being goaded and encouraged by the left elite. I digress, it does seem that anything military, patriotic or in the least, pro American, is being conspicuously (or not so much), left out of prime time entertainment. Entertainment and the arts is something we can turn off or not attend, but, we cannot ignore. Both have been used to change entire nations and groups ideologies and concepts, changing the course of the group or nation and the social environment. Vilify the police officer, soldier or patriot in the media and art. Push it on the youth and eventually they are the villains. I don't know how to reverse the trend other than letting the media outlets know how I feel, but I do see the same thing we experienced in the late '60s and early '70s, starting to rear it's head.

Thank you for the great share and it does sound a lot like the'60' & '70's all over.
