What is it? You would think that these shipping companies would be practicing security best practices, but then that cost money also and becomes a cost center that cuts into corporate profit. Well, I guess they will learn the hard way.

SSG Robert Webster Problem is that them learning the hard way puts customer data at risk. That is a big no no.

PO3 Steven Sherrill - Which 'customer data' is at risk? I am sure that some of that customer data at risk are trade or business secrets, and not necessarily direct financial data elements. What is really at risk is their ability to do business as accustomed, and due to delays, driving up cost. Unfortunately some of these 'just in time' providers and shippers did not add those factors in or they ignored them.
