Honorable mention to my mom (Syble W. Price), DOB 11/23/1928; dad (LTC W.S. Price Jr, USAF), DOB 9/23/1929; and their wedding date 2/23/1952.

Maj William W. 'Bill' Price I think that Black Thursday should have made my list. I did not have a spot for it. Good call.
D-Day should have made my list too. Not as much for the military significance, but that in a single week it changed the family trees of generations to come from the death of many great American heroes.
I would think that the Nov 8, 1942 should get a honorable mention. It was the beginning of Operation Torch. The commitment of US troops fully into the liberation of Nazi Germany by landing in North Africa.

I have visited the cemetery at Omaha Beach I could not keep from crying at the sacrifices of those before me.

Aug 6th, 1945 The day the A-Bomb was dropped.
Sept 11, 2001 Has changed the world forever.
Dec 17, 1903 The day of the first controlled manned flight.
July 20, 1969 Landing on the moon.
Jan 20, 2009 The day Obama became President. A culmination of decades of the civil rights movement in order that the words of our Constitution prove true. (Still not a fan of Obama, but a fan of equality.)
