There was a convo a couple weeks ago concerning Chicago which turned into an "inner-city" debate.
Once again Chicago is in the news.

The police in Chicago have their hands tied. They are a reactive force. Why? Because any proactive policing is seen as harassment to the community. I learned a long time ago that you can only police a community the way it wants to be policed. When Chicago decides that enough is enough then the police can come in and make a change by becoming proactive without recourse.

They would have to stop electing democrats for there to be real change. Elections have consequences and the democrats have created the environment that is today's chicago. You would think that the conditions in chicago would have woken the people up. Unfortunately, they are still asleep at the ballot box.

there were 4 killed in Wilson NC,... and another 7 Shot and 3 killed in madison NC ...and 4 More shot in Durham ... and 2 in Charlotte...
not to mention the near riots after suspected Shots fired in 3 malls in the Stare...
So Much for Christmas Spirit and Peace on Earth and Good will towards Men and Women...

Johnson said criminals feel empowered and emboldened by recent criticisms of police.
"When they feel the public will speak out for them and not the police officers, that's giving them the power to go out and do what they did," Johnson said.
I believe that says it all. Everyone keeps screaming "police brutality", but these "domestic terrorist gang members" have a lot of supporters saying that its the police that are committing the crimes of violence against the citizens - the statistics prove otherwise... but once again its the fault of the police.
