It figures Moonbeam Brown would give use the quote, "Economically, minimum wages may not make sense. But morally, and socially and politically, they make every sense..." So even HE can see the economic impact of the law, he just doesn't care, because it makes a political statement -- and he doesn't realize the social and moral impact of the law derives from its economic impact, not its political intent.

I'd argue that it's immoral to inject yourself into a transaction that doesn't involve you and eliminate people's jobs to make yourself feel good.
