Death toll climbs to six as tornado rips through Autauga County, Selma

Six were killed, more than a dozen missing and others pinned by trees and debris Thursday when a massive tornado swept across storm-battered central Alabama for the third time in about six weeks.

The death toll in Autauga County was expected to rise as search and rescue efforts continued. The dead and missing were in the Old Kingston community in the central part of the county.
