I believe America's greatest weapon is its propaganda.
Its second greatest weapon is the ability to deliver men and equipment anywhere in the world on short notice.
In third place I rank high tech weaponry. All you accomplish when you bomb a city short of nuking or firebombing it is mostly more places for the enemy to hide.

Although I believe that propaganda is faltering. This is part of the reason for the histrionics we have seen since 2016. Google's war on alternative news is the fear that they have lost control of the narrative, which they have.

Years ago, I read a DIA open publication that stated that China couldnt invade Tiwan because they lacked the ships and planes to do so. This is now the second dumbest article I have read in my life. The author managed to blither through a dissertation about how little he knows about tank warfare in relations to an advanced missile system. If this man had been correct the Desert Storm would have been a hard fought victory for the Iraqi Army. He rails against technology as if superior science doesnt count on the battle field. He is amazingly wrong.

Napoleon said morale with more than half the battle, and he was right. There is a tendency in the US to think that high-tech Weaponry is the answer to everything. I guess time will tell.

SSG Diane R. - That is part of the false choice the author makes. He uses morale as if you cant have it at the same time as high morale. I can cite nearly the entire US military and the IDF as examples that he is wrong. I happened to be conducting a NEO of US Citizens during that Israel - Lebanon conflict. The failure was in battlefield prep. The IDF allowed Hezbollah to prep the battle field without much of a bombardment to counter it. They left buildings intact which allowed their enemy to hit their tanks close and from multiple directions. It wasnt motivation or tech that failed the IDF in that conflict, it was weak political will and generals who had to be kind to their enemy.
