I'm not big on a three level rating, it's no better than a Pass/Fail system. The older five level rating was way better in my opinion. I know plenty of guys who will do anything you ask if them but no more. Some of those guys are totally unrealistic and think they're above and beyond the call of duty and 5's across the board and deserve QSI merit increases or $$$$$$ every year when it truly is NOT so. Then there's guys like me, I get put in for awards constantly, I never write "I love Me" letters when my supervisor asks me to, I don't ask for accolades, I don't ask for pets on the head, I do well above my pay grade for my job and outside my job description even. I don't ask for anything and when it comes time for reviews I just sign and leave because I usually have a project I'm working on, unless my supervisor wants to tell me something. I don't want to fill out my own appraisal just to have my supervisor look at it too and say whatever he wants on it. That's a waste of time. Bring back the old numerical system so turds know they're turds.
