Not sure who posted this on change.org, but I will definitely pass it along. I doubt it will actually make a real change, but you never know! If the government is paying for total gender reassignment surgery, why can't men grow beards? If they let you grow a beard underway, the argument of the "gas mask seal" holds no weight. Beards, with standards, to me, sounds like a fantastic idea. It's free + morale bonus!

ENS (Join to see) I don't like beards and would not have grown one if allowed. Having said that, it seems to me, based on the new "rules" society has imposed on our country, including the military, where you are whatever you "feel" you are, despite evidence to the contrary (like a penis or vagina), a person could have a beard and "feel" they are clean-shaven and, therefore, in compliance with the regulation... :-)

I'd probably grow one but it wouldn't last long...becomes irritating after a couple weeks.

I agree. Everyone would have beards for a month or so, and then you'd start to see shaven faces.
