Wayne I have always referred to the family and home as the team and A camp back in the US. Over all my years I have seen and heard some horrible things with families. Being a wife married to an SF guy is one of the hardest jobs in the military, example mine worked raised a son, one time built a house and moved from one to the other while I was over there. Way to often the wife is given to little credit, we will through her in front of the bus in a heart beat when she is wrong. But, we never hear of all those thankless hours, days, weeks, months that they work to keep life together. I could go on and on about this one. My wife has done all of it, sent packages, taken care of things at home, and been a shoulder for me to cry on when needed, and unfortunately I have needed it a few times. Thats why I think mine was an Angel sent from heaven.

Suspicious. Gee ya think? Either she suspects him and is leaving him (unlikely), or she’s the one cheating with Jodie. More than likely he used to consider Jodie a friend. What are good friends for these days but to ensure your woman is well serviced in your absence...
There is nothing more despicable than a man who would take another man’s woman that is off defending his freedom. He’s a better man than Jodie. God has something better in the wings for him. This will be a temporary setback.

Not a good sign. At least he didn't get a video of his significant other and Jodie in the act, which has happened. Not just in movies either. A SSgt from a USMC logistics unit in DS got one. He ate his 9 mm. My neighbor was his boss and told me about it firsthand. When some 4th MEB Marines were getting off buses at French Creek I saw a wife slap husband in the face with divorce papers. She was waiting at the bus door. Welcome home honey!!!

Sgt Wayne Wood
There is/was a law against divorcing a deployed spouse. IIRC it’s left over from WWII.
That’s why homecoming divorces are so “popular”

Soldiers & Sailors Relief Act provided protections against businesses, so maybe it was coddled in that one somewhere.

PO2 Kevin Parker - Sorry to hear it. I've sailed with Gator Navy and now understand how hard it is. It has to take its toll on marriages. I've been blessed with my bride of 37 years, but know many that haven't been so lucky. Take care.
