Make Guantanamo great again! LOL. Amnesty International, the American civil liberties Union, the Green Party and other groups like moveon.org purposely forget about what these detainees did and purposely don't report how well we take care of these criminals. Just think if we put them all in a Salvadorian jail full of MS-13 gang members? Then they would see how lucky they had it at Guantanamo!

I think anytime you house criminals together they will naturally share ideas, talents and experiences. What comes from that, who knows? We do know detainees were trained in how to behave if captured, so from that you can guess they had an agenda. They say the plan for the Islamic State came from detainees at Camp Bucca in al-Basra, Iraq. Quite possible. Practically speaking, you can't put every detainee in isolation. Prison protocol calls for degrees of confinement that correspond to the level of cooperation. Once a detainee is cooperative, they enjoy the least restrictive environment, including group accommodations. There is a give and take between jailer and the jailed. The more cooperative and less confrontational, the safer it is for everyone, and the more information you tend to get from the jailed. If they pow-wow and make future plans and we don't know who the leaders are to separate them, that's on us.
