Yeah, never mind the fact that the mayor of Flint, the city manager, the city council, and the head of the Department of Public Works for Flint all were... Democrats. I'll also point out that the link does not allow one to read the "indifferent emails" so that I can judge for myself whether the Gov didn't care. Seems to me the leadership at the lowest level screwed up to save a buck and then it got to the Gov's level well after the EPA knew about it and did nothing. This is highly similar to the Katrina incident where Democrats accused Bush of failing the People of New Orleans when their own mayor was proven to be the one who screwed up while the LA Gov initially refused Bush's assistance.

Here's a question... Why didn't the EPA step in sooner? Isn't that their job? Should I be blaming the President?

Superseded by state appointed administrators.

You have crouched too long in the bruising darkness.

"You, created only a little lower than
The angels, have crouched too long in
The bruising darkness,
Have lain too long
Face down in ignorance.
Your mouths spilling words
Armed for slaughter.
The Rock cries out today, you may stand on me,
But do not hide your face.
Across the wall of the world,
A River sings a beautiful song,
Come rest here by my side". - Maya Angelou.

Try this guy who was the manager when the city made the decision to use Flint Water
"On March 25, 2013, Flint City Council voted 7-1 to approve the purchase of 16 million gallons per day from the KWA"

Imagine that, arrogant bureaucrats running democrat managed cities ignore the citizens pleas for help. They vote for the change in water supply, have concerns brought to them and ignore it. This is government indifference toward citizens some of you better get used to. Those that love government control always scream the loudest when it becomes hazardous to our health. Walt, this is the natural outcome to all your cheering for big government leftists. Flint is a microcosm of many major cities run by the democrats today, corrupt to the core, indifference to citizens that elected them and enjoying their high government salary and benefits while the serfs die from poison water.. Enjoy Walt!
