It all boils down to the ratio of good guys with guns to bad guys with guns. Anti-gun types call that a gross oversimplification, but their gross oversimplification is even more gross and oversimplified -- they put good gun owners and bad gun owners together in one amorphous lump, and then blame the lump for gun violence.

The gun control folks' are are always purporting that good guys with guns will just make things worse by accidentally shooting victims while attempting to stop the bad guys. So I guess to them it's better to guarantee the bad guy has a chance to shoot every victim rather than risk any victim being accidentally shot by a good guy attempting to stop the bad guy. Nuts!
