I simply point out that if they think the 2nd Amendment only applies to the firearm technology of the time it was written, then to be consistent -- they must agree that the 1st Amendment likewise only applies to the communication technology of that time. No radio, TV, and certainly no internet. They would be permitted to exercise their freedom of speech and Press by the leading edge of communication technology of the time --- the megaphone and hand-operated printing press.
