I was there from 89-91 with the 7th Infantry. First I am hearing about this.

I served there fromm 88 to 92. This is the first I've heard of this. I knew it was a Superfund site but we were told it was due to the firing ranges.

This total and complete BS. Put toxic sites in the US into google and you find answers that show US military is not being truthful. Read The Travel of Orange by Donna Tornoe. She details the use of agent orange in Panama and many other countries. I have shipping details, storage sites in the U S and other research that shows these toxic agents have used since 1948 and probably before that year.

This base is an example of the recklessness that military used to make these bases toxic sites. This has been repeated throughout the bases in the US and around the world. US military wad the go to place to get toxins. Fort Meade wax the home of the chemical corp in the military.
