I think that I saw one of the new cards being used today but I didn't know what they were doing. The clerk had to show the customer how to do it. Instead of swiping the card she stuck it up into a hole in the bottom of the reader. The reader had both the slot to swipe your card and a hole in the bottom to stick a card in.

If it protects us from Identity theft I all for it. Identity theft is becoming all to common place.

I think so. I've got the chip already in mine. Apparently most places here in S. Korea require the card to have the chip. Regular cards won't work. Wife tryed to use her old style card here and well they could get it to work. So guess who wound up paying. This guy.
