Trivia is not a new thing with me. It's a daily thing. However, I discovered the trivia group on RP only today. The interesting thing about disappearing lakes is that all appear to be results of human activity. Whereas I have not accepted the "science" of man-made climate change, I can easily see the science in man altering the geology. Indeed, the history of human activity is festooned with monuments, edifices, artificial waterways, and other engineering marvels. Sadly, some are so great in their scope that they produce unintended consequences.
