Doctor Enters Army at 53 to Help Wounded Soldiers

Thanks, Doc! We had a 63 year old ER doc who had just joined out of Wisconsin in 2004 and he was great! He deployed with us in OEF. During ODS, we had a 71 year old CW4 who was called up. He was an old master logistics guy who got called up to help GEN Gus Pagonis. We took him to the range, helped him into a fighting position, and let him fire an M-16. The last weapon he told us he fired was an M-1! Great old guy but had no business going through a mobilization station.
