Does This Controversial TV Network For Vets Help Or Hurt Those Who Served?

I get that they are going for dark humor, etc. And that not all vets will agree with the jokes. I do find this quote in the article off-putting though, to be honest. --- “Civilians do not want to see how truly disgusting we really are,” he says with a laugh. “In our culture, the thought of killing your enemy with a knife to the gut is just as exciting as the thought of your firstborn child or the thought of getting married. Civilians don’t like to know that.”

I note that most Infantrymen I've known would likely congratulate each other more exuberantly over an actual knife kill than over a wedding or new kid. Everyone gets married or has kids occasionally, not everyone get's that fabled knife kill.

I guess I'll stay tuned and see if this media will help returning men and women with and without critical challenges become whole better or sooner than evidence-based based resources.
