As I'm sure many have already heard, Kaya, a retired military service dog and the inspiration behind the PAWS Act signed into federal law in 2021, was recently honored by Southwest Airlines during her final flight. Thank you to Kaya and her handler Cole Lyle for advocating to expand coverage of service dogs for veterans with post-traumatic stress (PTS) through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
