A very tragic end for these beautiful children sister Sgt (Join to see) , my heart goes out to the family during their time of great grief.

They had these dogs 8 years. This mauling is one of many similar unexpected incidents that I’ve heard of involving family Pittbulls SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth

Pit bulls were initially bred for biting and fighting

Lt Col Charlie Brown Not just pit's, but any bred that attacks a human.
We had a bull on the farm that was the most gentle one I have seen, if he was laying down you could come up and lay down next to him and put your head on him, he would just raise his head and give you a look to see what was on him, then put his head back down & go back to sleep. He would let you jump on his back and ride him, he would go no faster than a walk.
One day Dad was working in the field and the bull came up to him & started to roll and stomp him, none of us boys were home at the time. Mom saw what was happening and started to call us on the phone, we all grabbed the weapons we could get fast and hightailed it home. By the time I got there my two Brothers had shot the bull at least 20 times and he hadn't gone down, what finally put him down was a 16 gage slug between the eyes. Dad was lucky he only had 2-3 broken ribs, he looked over the bull and figured that he had gotten to close to a nest of ground bees and got stung by all of them and went mad.
So it's not only dogs that'll turn on you, everything will.
