Donald Trump ditches press, goes to steakhouse

PE Trump still has not realized the magnitude of what he is now in- IMO and he is not used to such scrutiny or microscopic insight into his personal life. He will realize, hopefully sooner rather than later, that he is no longer a private citizen, but a servant of the American public and as such his life is now an open book for all intensive purposes.

He's obligated to stick around with the press? He's not even in office yet.

The Trump presidency is very much a monster of the press's creation. He masterfully manipulated them to provide him with practically free advertising. That's part of how he raised and spent so much less than HRC, yet still won. You may recall his future CoS and the RNC were initially concerned he raised too little money once they nominated him. The press needs to take a long hard look at itself and not be shocked when he takes advantage of them. He did it his whole campaign.
