Another example of a non/fake news story being pushed by the NYT. Trump has announced nothing yet. Buried in the "story" a number of paragraphs into it is their get out of jail free disclaimer:

None of the plans have been completed, and it remains uncertain precisely what the president-elect will reveal next week at an expected news conference at which he has said he will discuss “leaving my great business in total in order to fully focus on running the country.”

So essentially this is a non story. The plans are not complete. Trump plans an announcement on December 15th but the NYT just stacks on the unnamed sources, innuendo and general non information story to try to make it look like Trump has said or done something he has not done.

The sooner that media and opposition figure out he's not changing for anyone, the better. He's already said the law is on his side and it is so all the coverage is just taking our eye off more important "stuff". It was factored in with his voters. Give him a chance. If he screws up then handle it. Only real concern is if they go dark with affairs or if those empowered to hold him accountable are pushed aside. Cross that bridge if/when we come to it. Very basic.

As long as he doesn't continue to run his charitable foundation and receive donations for foreign governments what's the issue!
