I am curious if the actions of those two where just them acting the dumbass fool or if some of those 600 folks drank the bar dry and possibly acted the dumbass fool themselves. Part of me feels there is more to the story

Hell isn't that what a hotel bar wants 600 people willing to pay $12 bucks a drink, that is a money maker right there.

Haven’t been to one or two military functions and off post establishments my initial reaction to seeing that story was it was a leader ship failure to control those service members which was proximate cause to management having to refuse service to the group for the remainder of the night
Perhaps that’s not accurate I’ll never know cause I wasn’t there
But I do know it was a rare occasion alcohol infused military functions at a local sports bar kind of place did not get out a hand the difference was always the leader ship or lack there of

On a side note. I was stationed in Colorado Springs (Peterson AFB) for 4 years. On more than one occasion while shopping locally I was asked by the cashier what branch of service I was in when presenting a check. I asked one cashier, "what difference does it make?", and was informed they did not accept checks from Army personnel (Ft. Carson) because they were frequently returned due to insufficient funds. Perceptions can have negative consequences.
