China has so many unresolved issues in it's private sector economy. If this is true and they were only using the private sector as a means to catch up technically. They are going to find by eliminating it or marginalizing it they will fall further behind the world in just about every category of development. I remember earlier predictions that China would overtake the United States economically by 2020. Here it is almost 2019 and their GDP is still only about half of ours. They have a long way to go and it looks like their hyper growth rates are now a relic of the past as well because the Chinese Communist Party cannot micro manage an economy the size of China's. It is starting to come apart. Their only solution for longevity and continued growth is to get ride of the Communist Party and replace it with a multi-party Democracy. It's their only hope for reunification with Taiwan as well.
