Dr. Fauci orders takeout several times a week: 'I feel it's almost a neighborly obligation'

I’m a frugal person and as much as I love good food I try not to let myself go too crazy ordering takeout meals. But since this all started I have certainly ordered more often, exclusively from local places, and tip extra. I’m very lucky to have a career that has been unaffected financially by this so if I can do some small part for others AND get a decent pizza...all in.

My family has been doing our part to keep our favorite small family owned neighborhood shops afloat -- we will continue to keep our $$ local when this pandemic calms down -- We had started this several years ago and CV19 just reinforces the strength of the local dollar for local business owners, plus it's nice to be recognized as part of the neighborhood when you enter a business and not just a revenue source
