Makes you wonder why media wont follow the Dakota Pipline problem. Native Americans are trying to save the water. A non aboriginal was there and got shot with a rubber 203 round from an officer and she might lose her arm now or already did. They got attacked by dogs. Aressted for simply just standing there and have random felonies. Where is the positive? Was there anything said on RP?

The real tragedy is that both sides were pawns of the gov. The gov back then was purposely infecting the tribes and then sending in "help" that, most times, did not know that they were infected on purpose and when the "help" was blamed and harmed the gov swooped in and became the "hero" of the day.....

I can find no documentation that the government purposefully poisoned or spread illness to American natives.

LTC David Brown - You think they would admit to it? There are a few accounts from people on it, but it is a well know practice that is also hushed up.

Candy Alkaabi - Good grief! Or maybe space aliens infected them from outer space, I mean it could have happened. Sorry., extraodinary claims require extraordinary proof. Ward Churchill a Native American history professor got fired for making such claims. This is pure fabrication. Why? Because we had alliances with different tribes. The transmission of disease can't be confined to only enemies. There is no evidence that this was ever used. Might as well say little green men from space killed the Native American people, I mean it is possible correct? And it could have happened! http://quod.lib.umich.edu/p/plag/5 [login to see] .009/--did-the-us-army-distribute-smallpox-blankets-to-indians?rgn=main;view=fulltext
