Drivers who hit protesters blocking roads could be protected under NC House bill

My mother always told me to never play in the streets or I might get hit by a car......

Protesting is one thing, but unpermitted activities like blocking public through fairs is something completely different. This is public disobedience and probably a violation of traffic laws as well. These protestors blocking roads and highways are often criminal professional anarchists that are paid to disrupt basic functions of society. And as such should receive no protection under law. It is easily understandable that drivers coming into a situation like this may be fearful for their own lives, and the lives of their passengers. Furthermore these drivers, in trying to protect the occupants of their vehicles and themselves, should be held unaccountable for driving through these so called protestors to safety. COL Mikel J.
