This only highlights why there is no true academic freedom within most of our colleges and universities today. I saw the intolerance of the left when attending the University of Vermont in the early 1970's where some of my professors downgraded my papers and exams because of my conservatism and not for any deficiency of my thoughts, logic or character. They also tried to intimidated me into silence during seminars and open classes. Even back then they were teaching "what" instead of "how" to think. Today we live in a world where there are too damn few "critical thinkers" and advance degrees that mean nothing.
